The Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) as part of its on-going Right to Information (RTI) awareness program in the country, this week conducted its training in Tamil for the provincial journalists in the Mulathiw and Kilinochchi districts. The sessions held on the 30th of March 2017 at Solaivanam Guest, consisted 30 participants from the Mulathiw and Kilinochchi districts. The program is designed to promote the use of the RTI Act, communicate the Act in a simplified manner, the benefits of the law and practical issues when requesting for information. Sessions was conducted by Attorneys Mr Ainkaran Kugadasan and Mr.Ameen Hussain
