The Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) conducted a 3-day workshop for young journalists on “Investigative Journalism” from the 26th to the 28th of March in Colombo. The objective of the workshop was on the use of the Right to Information Law and Data in investigative journalism.
Indian Express investigative journalist Mr. Shyamlal Yadav was the main resource person and he shared his experiences. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Kamal Liyanaarachchi, Complaints Officer PCCSL and Mr.Shihar Aneez, Reuters Correspondent for Sri Lanka and Maldives.
