Sri Lanka Press Institute organized a workshop about Right to Information act for the Non Government Organizations in Colombo district. It was held on 22th of June, 2017 at SLPI Auditorium.
The training programme was held as two seperate-parrarell sessions for Sinhala and English. Sinhala training session was conducted by Mr Kamal Liyanarachchi and English training session was conducted by Attorneys Mr Ainkaran Kugadasan. During the workshop, the practical situations were discussed when continuing the act. Further the Civil Society have been guided identifying the practical issues.
