They further state that irrespective of a number of complaints so far no action is being taken by the authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Although the authorities claim that illegal equipment are confiscated, the fishermen community says that those equipment are released to the owners later.<\/p>\n<p>When the fishermen in the area filed a Right to information application it was learned that the officials have taken steps to expedite the proceedings and investigations. During the recent past, around 400 investigations conducted.
